A woman was rescued by firefighters and paramedics after a 4×4 skidded off a Perthshire road in snowy conditions.
She had to be removed from the vehicle after the crash on the A85 Perth to Crianlarich road at Auchlone Lodge, near Crieff, at about 1.10pm.
The 4×4 is said to have veered off of the route in the snow.
Police, paramedics and two fire appliances from Crieff and Comrie were called to the scene following the incident.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “It is a one vehicle road traffic collision. There was one female casualty. The driver wasn’t physically trapped but required paramedics.
“Firefighters made the scene safe. One female driver was assisted by paramedics in the vehicle. Firefighters assisted paramedics transferring the casualty out of the vehicle.”
The woman’s injuries were described as minor.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 1.07pm to attend an incident on the A85 near Crieff.
“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene. One female patient was treated on the scene and did not require to be taken to hospital.”
A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland, along with other emergencies attended a road traffic collision involving a jeep near Auchlone Lodge at 1.55pm.”
