Police Scotland is appealing for information on a housebreaking in Crook of Devon near Kinross.
Sometime between 12.30pm on Sunday January 21 and 3.45pm on Tuesday January 23 a house in a small cul-de-sac was broken into through a rear window which was forced open.
The house was entered and a quantity of jewellery worth a four figure sum was stolen. These items, while valuable, were of considerable personal and sentimental value to the owners.
“The most distinctive items taken were two gold watches, one gent’s and one lady’s, which had personal messages inscribed on them,” said a Police Scotland spokesperson.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or speak with any police officer.
