Police have named a man who has died following an accident in Perthshire.
Gregory Edgar, 33, from the Alyth area, was taken to hospital after the collision near Airlie on the A926 between Alyth and Blairgowrie on January 19.
Police have confirmed he has died from his injuries.
A police spokesperson said: “The man has been formally identified as Gregory Edgar, 33, from the Alyth area. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
“As with all deaths caused by road traffic collisions, a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.”
Scottish Ambulance Service had dispatched two ambulances, a manager, a trauma team and a paramedic response unit to the scene.
The road was closed for several hours as police conducted investigations into the accident.
