Police have released a teenager they had been questioning in connection with an alleged sex assault in Perth.
The 19-year-old male was arrested earlier this week but has now been freed without charge.
CID and forensic officers descended on a car park beside the Ice Factory on Shore Road, Perth, on Sunday around 4am.
Police later confirmed there had been an alleged sex assault in the area.
A police spokesperson confirmed the 19-year-old man has now been released but stressed inquiries are still taking place.
“The male has been released without charge,” he said. “However, inquiries are still ongoing.”
