A superstar of music is coming to Tayside for what promises to be one of the biggest gigs in the region for years.
Lionel Richie’s show at McDiarmid Park in Perth takes place on Sunday, June 3 and is expected to attract thousands of people.
He will be the biggest star to play the home of St Johnstone since Elton John more than a decade ago.
Tickets for the performance go on sale on Friday morning at 10am and will be available through four websites – Ticketmaster, Gigantic, alt. tickets and AXS.
No tickets will be on sale at Perth Box Office or at McDiarmid Park itself.
Ticketmaster has confirmed it will not be selling physical copies anywhere in Perth.
A spokeswoman for the company said: “Ticketmaster is not selling tickets in person. However, we cannot comment on other outlets.”
Gigantic and alt. tickets both confirmed that briefs are only being made available online on Friday.
AXS has not been able to shed light on the issue, but the firm is believed to be online-based.
Tickets will be available via these four websites:
Richie has promised to perform all of his classics at the show including Dancing on the Ceiling, Hello and All Night Long.
