Motorists in Perth are experiencing delays as a consequence of emergency gas works.
The repairs, on Edinburgh Road, have caused congestion and briefly saw traffic back-up onto the M90 at the height of rush hour.
Motorists should be aware there is a slight delay to traffic on Edinburgh Road, Perth due to emergency gas works taking place.

Perth and Kinross Council said the delays were likely to be “slight” as the day progresses.
The works are expected to to continue for some time.
