Missing Alyth man Gordon Inkster, 63, has been traced.
He had last been seen in Blairgowrie on Sunday afternoon.
A helicopter was drafted in which assisted with the search but Police Scotland later confirmed he had been found.
“We are very pleased to confirm that missing person Gordon Inkster has been traced safe and well,” said Police Scotland.
“We would like to thank everyone for their help, whether it be from sharing our appeal or from those who have actively been out searching for him.
“All help provided has been hugely appreciated.”
