A Hollywood actress has thrown her support behind efforts to trace a missing former Perth College student.
Dundee United fan Liam Colgan, 29, vanished while on a stag do in Hamburg for his brother, Eamonn.
He was last spotted at 1.30am on Saturday in a bar in the Reeperbahn area of the city’s Red Light District.
And now Avengers and Doctor Who star Karen Gillan has shown her support for the search to find Liam, who lives in her native Inverness.
There was an apparent sighting of the postie near Buxtehude train station earlier this week, with police dogs picking up a possible scent on Wednesday.
A large police search has been launched with more than 450 digital billboards across Hamburg displaying Liam’s photo.
Gillan took to Twitter to say: “Let’s all RT and help find Liam”.

Brother Eamonn returned to Hamburg along with his fiance Susan and other friends and family members to assist with the search.
Liam studied music at Perth College. Earlier this week Dundee United captain Willo Flood posted an online appeal to help find him.
