He’s known across the world for his tough guy roles on both the small and big screens, including a famous turn as one of Rocky Balboa’s most fearsome opponents.
And now Mr T, a former wrestler who is trained in martial arts, has found himself gripped by curling while watching the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The A-Team actor has been tweeting his newfound fascination with the “exciting” sport as he follows the action in Pyeongchang, South Korea; even starting the hashtag #curlingiscoolfool.
And he also appeared to pay tribute to the British women’s curling team, which is led by skip and Courier columnist Eve Muirhead of Perthshire, following their 7-4 loss to the US squad earlier this week.
Following the showdown between the two sides, Mr T tweeted: “The US women’s curling team had a scare last night in their win against Great Britain. That was a close one ladies. Whew!”

He added: “I like curling, it’s less wear and tear on the body. I wrestled, boxed, and studied martial arts. I have nothing else to prove. Therefore I choose curling.
“Anyways, I see curling as a finesse sport, more straight and controlled strength. Not brute strength, like when I was a bouncer, oh no!”
Curling is kind of different, but it’s Exciting. It’s not as easy as it looks. It takes some skills that’s for sure. I like it!

He most recently posted to say that he was taking time out from watching the sport to pray for the 17 victims of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
I have to pause though from watching curling and the Olympics, and Pray for the shooting victims and their families at the Florida high school. God help us! #Momentofsilence
