Police are hunting thieves who snatched an art installation from a Perth beauty spot.
The wood carving of a fox and a rabbit was wrenched from the ground at Kinnoull Hill in Perth.
The piece was created from a tree stump near the Corsiehill car park and is one of 10 similar artworks in the area.
Police Scotland believe it was removed some time between early December and January 15.
A force spokesman said: “As it was created in situ, the stump itself has been removed from the ground which would have taken considerable time and effort.
“Also, the carving is quite distinctive, and if it is on display somewhere or has been offered for sale, it should be recognisable.”
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
