A council meeting to debate the future of Perth City Hall has been postponed because of severe weather conditions.
The talks were due to be held at Perth and Kinross Council’s High Street HQ on Wednesday afternoon.
Councillors were due to hear that a Scottish Government delegation had visited the landmark building ahead of making a decision on Perth’s bid to reclaim the Stone of Destiny.
According to council papers, work is due to begin on the hall’s £20 million make-over in April next year.
A local authority spokeswoman said provost Dennis Melloy had taken the decision to postpone the meeting because many councillors from outwith the city faced difficult travelling conditions.
