A 35-year-old man has been charged in connection with a suspicious death in Alyth. John Donachy, 26, was found dead at an address in the town’s Hazel Court on Saturday night. A force spokesman confirmed a man had been arrested and was due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday. He said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 35-year-old man has now been charged in connection with the death of John Donachy in Alyth. “He has been kept in custody and is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday, March 6.”
