Police have released a CCTV image of a man they believe attempted to rob a security guard in Blairgowrie.
The incident happened at around 12.10pm at the Co-Op in Perth Road on February 20.
A police spokesman said: “A male approached a security guard who was delivering money to the store and attempted to steal a box of money.
“The male was unsuccessful and ran off in the direction of Blairgowrie town centre before being lost to sight.”
Officers say they are keen to identify the man in the image.
