A Perthshire man’s missing bird of prey has been safely returned to him.
Owner Alex Matossian had appealed for people to keep an eye out for the distinctive red-tailed buzzard.
As he predicted, the buzzard called Amber was likely to be within a mile or two of Golf Course Road in Blairgowrie where she went missing on March 14.
The distinctive bird was traced to a near neighbour’s garden on Monday, none the worse for having been missing for five days and was returned “safe and sound”.
