A woman was treated by the ambulance service after her car flipped onto its roof in a crash near Glenfarg.
The incident happened on the A912 just after 5.30pm.
Police confirmed the casualty had “no visible injuries” after being assessed.
There are conflicting reports about how many vehicles were involved, with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Services recording two and Police Scotland having just one – a blue Citroen – on their records.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “We were called to a road traffic accident on the A912 at Glenfarg.
“There was a vehicle on its roof and a female trapped within.
“She was released prior to our arrival.”
