Police teams swooped on Perth city centre flats following reports of a missing resident.
Two police vans and two police cars arrived at St Catherine’s Square, following claims a tenant had not been seen for several days.
A local glazier was also called in but was not required to break into the property.
However, the police were able to trace the person at the block.
A force spokeswoman said: “There was concern for a person who has now been traced safe and well.”
It happened just after 12pm on Thursday.
