Pop superstar Gary Barlow thanked Perth for “an awesome night” after the first of his two Tayside shows.
The former Take That icon performed at Perth Concert Hall to thousands of excited fans who had travelled from across Europe for the gig.
It was only the second performance of the 47-year-old’s 24-stop, 34-date tour of the UK and Ireland, which began in Edinburgh on Monday.
He performed a variety of his 16 UK number one singles, which include 2013’s Let Me Go, 1997’s Forever Love, and 2012’s Sing.
Superfans started queuing up outside Perth Concert Hall as early as 4pm on Wednesday, more than 24 hours before he was due to take to the stage.
The fans, who came from as far afield as Israel and Spain to see their idol, all had tickets but simply wanted to be the first in line to gain entry.
The Cheshire-born icon was a member of boyband Take That from 1989 to 1996 when the band parted ways before reforming in 2005.
As a solo-artist, the father-of-three has sold 16 number 1 UK singles, 8 number 1 albums and has written 14 UK number 1 singles, selling over 50 million records worldwide and over 7 million concert tickets.

Take That have sold 12 number 1 singles and seven number one albums.
Supported by rocker KT Tunstall, who was raised in St Andrews, the northern Englishman now moves on from Perth to perform at the Caird Hall in Dundee tonight.
It will be almost two years after he last visited the city – surprising local woman Jill Campbell by appearing at her 30th birthday party at the Apex Hotel.
