Two people were taken to hospital following a collision between a lorry and a car on the A9 near Dunkeld.
The incident took place at 10.51am on the northbound carriageway of the Perth to Inverness road, and involved an HGV and a white saloon car.
It led to the northbound stretch of the road being closed until 1pm.
A man and a woman were conveyed by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, following the incident but police stated their injuries were not thought to be serious.
A police spokesperson said: “Police were in attendance on the A9 near Dunkeld railway station in response to a road traffic collision. A car and a lorry were involved in a collision, which resulted in the road being partially blocked.”
He confirmed the northbound carriageway re-opened around 1pm
And a spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service commented: “We received a call to attend a road traffic collision on the A9 at Dunkeld. We dispatched one ambulance to the scene.
“One male and one female were transported to Ninewells Hospital.”
