A young man has been charged in connection with an alleged sex assault in Perth.
An investigation was carried out earlier this year after reports of an attack near the Ice Factory nightclub on Shore Road.
Forensic teams were seen combing a cordoned-off area of waste ground near the venue.
A force spokesman said on Tuesday: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 20 year old man has been charged in connection with a serious sexual assault outside the Ice Factory nightclub in Perth on January 28.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
