The second day of Scotland’s biggest countryside show is under way.
Around 35,000 people are expected to flock to Scone Palace this weekend for the 30th annual GWCT Scottish Game Fair.
And police are reminding visitors to take their “factor 30” as temperatures continue to sizzle.
Blue skies and sunshine are expected throughout the day, with temperatures around 19C.
The show’s Cookery Theatre Sausage Saturday begins at 10.30am with “bangers for brunch”, offering 101 ways to cook game sausages. It will be hosted by chef and presenter Christopher Trotter.
Later in the day, there will be a game sausage competition where visitors are invited to bring along their own bangers which will be judged by an expert panel.
The main ring was opened by Blairgowrie Pipe Band, followed by a display of terrier racing.
The action-packed arena programme will also feature Clywd Axemen – creating timber art – and a demonstration by Sealpin and Mordor Gundogs.
Organisers have also prepared a busy programme of stortyelling and ceramics for younger visitors at the GWCT stand, as well as free hands-on lessons in bush craft and countryside skills on Activity Row.
Police have warned motorists to expect delays around Perth, particularly at Bridgend and on the A93.
A spokesman said: “As always, please be aware of the extra traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian, in the area, and allow extra time for your journey if you’re passing through. We hope everyone enjoys themselves and remembers their factor 30.”
The good weather is expected to continue on Sunday.
