Three people were taken to hospital following a two-car smash on the A9, near Perth.
Part of the route between Broxden Roundabout and Cairnie Brae was closed following the accident at 10.30am.
One person had to be cut free from their vehicle. Ambulance crews confirmed three injured people were taken to Ninewells Hospital.
The collision involved a black Renault Kadjar and a black Range Rover.
Fire crews were called to the scene to free one person trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Police Scotland said the extent of injuries was unknown at this stage.
Drivers were told to take an “alternative route”.
Traffic Scotland said the road was re-opened by 12pm.
