The A9 was closed in both directions for almost four hours following a crash in Highland Perthshire on Monday morning.
Police and two fire engines were called to the scene near House of Bruar at about 9am following the two-vehicle collision.
Witnesses said an air ambulance was also in attendance.
Traffic Scotland had advised drivers to use alternative routes but later said there were no “suitable diversions”.
