A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a Stagecoach bus outside Perth Cathedral.
The accident happened on North Methven Street around 5.30pm.
The bus windscreen was shattered by the impact of the collision.
The man was treated on the road by paramedics following the accident.
He was then treated in the back of the ambulance before being taken to hospital.
The accident reduced the street to one lane for a short period of time.
Police said the man’s injuries are not life-threatening.
One passenger on the bus said: “I was a passenger on the bus and jumped off to help the victim as I’m a first aider.
“Myself and a female passer-by helped the man.
“He was moaning and had lost a bit of blood from a bad head wound.
“He had a bad graze on his side.
“The driver was great and stopped straight away.
“He jumped out to help the man and call an ambulance.”
The driver is understood to have been left shaken following the incident.
