A large-scale emergency operation was launched in Perth on Thursday night after a mountain biker was injured in a hillside crash.
The cyclist reportedly came off his bike at Kinnoull Hill with two ambulances and a fire crew, including specialist rescue equipment, rushing to the scene to assist at around 7.30pm.
Eye-witnesses said they passed the the man lying on a path below before he was then rescued and taken to the ambulance for treatment.
His condition is not known.
The fire service confirmed they attended the incident and were required to break a padlock to gain access to the site via Muirhall Road.
