Police have closed a rural Perthshire road after a car collided with a tree.
Emergency services were scrambled to the B996 between Glenfarg and the Bein Inn Hotel on Friday afternoon.
The collision happened at around 4pm with paramedics treating the injured man at the scene before taking him to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
His condition is unknown.
Police Scotland have urged motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
A spokesperson for Tayside Police said: “We received a call from the Scottish Ambulance Service about a one vehicle crash at 4.22pm.
“It’s looking serious. We are still dealing with it at present.”
The fire service also confirmed it attended the incident, with the road still closed as of 8pm.
