Perthshire towns and cities are ready for red hot celebrations as preparations get underway for Guy Fawkes night.
The spark was lit on Friday night with thousands heading to Larghan Park in Coupar Angus.
It was the 13th year of the annual Blast in the Park, which was welcomed with the return of a huge fire-breathing dragon.
The night also raised money for the haemotology/oncology department at Perth Royal Infirmary, which carries out an invaluable service to cancer patients across the area.
Monday night’s Perth display is expected to attract around 8,000 to the city’s South Inch for an evening of entertainment organised by the volunteers of Perth Strathearn Round Table, with assistance from Perth and Kinross Council and Perth Common Good Fund.
Crieff Round Table will host its annual Guy Fawkes celebration at Market Park on Monday.
Gates open at 6.30pm, with the bonfire lit at 7.15pm and the fireworks at 7.30pm.
Displays will also be held in Blairgowrie and Comrie tonight.
