Police are appealing for information about the second robbery at the Spar in Inchture in the last three weeks.
Thieves broke into the Main Street supermarket at about 4:45am on the morning of Tuesday, November 13.
The culprits targeted a “specific part of the store”, disregarding other valuable items as they stole a quantity of cash.
Witnesses saw a red car driving away from the area at speed at around the same time. Officers would like to trace this car and its occupants.
The break-in comes after a similar incident at the same shop at 2am on Sunday, October 28.
A police spokesperson said: “If you have any information about either of these break-ins, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.”
