Beer fans showed their dedication to a pint this morning when they queued for an hour for the opening of BrewDog’s new Perth bar.
The craft beer pub chain offered up free pints for a year to one of the first 50 people to cross the threshold as part of the celebrations today.
A queue began to form in George Street an hour before the opening of the BrewDog bar, which was formerly a coffee shop, despite driving rain.
One of the patient punters was Elaine Pirie, who was first in the queue.
She said: “It’s definitely worth the wait.
“It’s just totally different to the run of the mill stuff, it’s really good.”
BrewDog started in 2007 in Fraserburgh and has taken a 20-year lease in the C-listed building.
