Emergency service crews were called to a block of flats in Perth, following reports of smoke billowing from one of the properties.
Three fire crews attended at Queen’s Court, Craigie, at around 3.50pm on Monday.
Police were also called to the scene.
A fire service spokesman said the smoke had been caused by food left on an oven hob. Crews left after making sure the scene was safe.
