Police searching for a missing Blairgowrie man have recovered a body.
Lee Brown disappeared from his home in the town in the early hours of Friday, November 30.
The 34-year-old, who uses a walking stick, had been described by police as “high risk”.
Officers confirmed on Wednesday morning that a body has been recovered from the River Ericht, which runs through the town.
Mr Brown’s family has been informed.
A force spokesman said: “Sadly, the body of a man was recovered from the River Ericht in Blairgowrie on Tuesday.
“A formal identification has yet to be made, but the family of missing person Lee Brown have been informed.”
