A man who died in a four-vehicle crash in Highland Perthshire has been named.
Frank Dewar, 71, from Forres, was the sole occupant of one of the cars involved in the crash bear Blair Atholl, which included and HGV, on Thursday afternoon.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm the identity of the man who was killed in a road traffic collision on the A9 near Blair Atholl yesterday as Frank Dewar, 71, from Forres.
“Mr Dewar was the driver and sole occupant of one of the cars involved in a four-vehicle collision. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
“We are not appealing for witnesses or further information regarding the incident.”
