The top baby names across Perth and Kinross in 2018 have been revealed.

The National Records of Scotland has released the statistics for 2018, confirming Jack and Olivia as the most popular names across the country for another year.

However, the regional breakdowns reveal a different picture.

For girls in Perth and Kinross, Ellie and Freya share the top spot as the two most popular names. Ava, Grace, Maisie and Olivia are the next most popular.

Rory is the top boy name. Jacob and James share second place, followed by Archie and Noah.
