The 29-year-old pedestrian who died after a collision with a Land Rover in Bridge of Allan has been named as Fraser Ross from Alloa.
Mr Ross sustained serious injuries and died at the scene after being hit by a Land Rover Defender in Bridge of Allan’s Cornton Road at around 11.10pm on Thursday December 27.
The driver stopped and spoke to police, though officers are still looking to gather further information about the incident.
Inspector Andrew Thomson said: “Our deepest sympathies remain with Fraser’s family and our inquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“I would reiterate our appeal for motorists or other members of the public with information that can assist this investigation to contact police immediately.
“Those with information can contact the RPU at Stirling via 101 and quote incident number 4280 of 27th December.”
