Crowds flocked to the River Tay this weekend for a dazzling lights show in honour of Robert Burns.
The celebration of Scotland’s Bard marked the launch of Perth’s Light Nights festival along the Norrie-Miller trail.
A parade marched through the city centre before finishing in Tay Street. Across the water, live music from singers and pipe bands marked the start of the two-week lights show.
Tens of thousands are expected to attend the shows, which have various themes over the course of a fortnight.
