Valuable jewellery including a distinctive diamond ring has been stolen from a property in Dunkeld.
Police Scotland is appealing for information about a break-in at Atholl Gardens, Dunkeld that happened at some point between January 20 and 27.
Police said the thieves entered the house through a window before taking a “quantity of high value jewellery.”
A police spokesperson said: “Unfortunately we do not yet have a full list of stolen items, however a photograph of a distinctive diamond ring that has definitely been taken has been provided to us.
“As the incident took place sometime over the course of a full week, it is unlikely that anyone has seen it take place, however there is a chance that items stolen have been sold or offered for sale.
“If you have any information that could assist our enquiries – in particular if you have been offered expensive-looking jewellery for sale – please call 101 or speak with any police officer.”
