A burst water main has cut off supplies to households and businesses across parts of rural Perthshire.
Scottish Water engineers have been working overnight to fix the problem at Forgandenny.
The issue was reported at about 9am on Saturday and it is understood scores of properties in the Bridge of Earn and Abernethy area have been affrcted.
A Scottish Water spokeswoman said: “We’ve located a burst in Forgandenny which has caused a loss of water supply to the area.”
She said: “Operatives are on their way to carry out a repair and get supplies back to normal as soon as possible.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing customers and will provide a further update as soon as more information becomes available.”
Scottish Water had initially hoped to restore supplies by late Saturday afternoon. However, the operation to fix the main continued through the night.
The work was completed at about 7am on Sunday, and residents were told supplies would return soon after.
Bottled water was distributed from the village hall throughout Saturday, but residents said there wasn’t enough to meet demand.
