Hay on a road restricted a section of the A90 carriageway between Perth and Dundee to one lane today.
Police Scotland were called at around 11.45am and one lane of the stretch southbound between Inchture and Longforgan remained closed.
Drivers had been told to expect delays of up to 45 minutes and were reminded to drive carefully.
Bear Scotland had cleared the debris before 2pm.
