A cannabis haul worth an estimated £12,000 has been found in Perth.
Police searched a property on the city’s Gowrie Street on Monday March 4 and removed a large quantity of the drug.
They charged a 28-year-old man. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said they acted on the search warrant as part of their work to target local drug dealers.
The spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 28-year-old man has been charged after a drug search warrant was executed in Gowrie Street, Perth on Monday March 4.
“Cannabis with an estimated street value of £12,000 was recovered. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
They said Police Scotland remained committed to reducing the tragic impact of drugs on individuals, families and communities in Scotland.
