A number of people have been injured in a five-vehicle crash on the M90 near Bridge of Earn.
The motorway was closed northbound after the crash between Junctions 9 and 10.
It is understood four cars and an HGV were involved. A witness told The Courier he saw one car joining the motorway in the wrong direction moments before the crash.
Tayside Police Division said the accident happened at 1.50pm.
The statement added: “One man is confirmed to have sustained injuries which are not life threatening.”
Traffic was diverted through Bridge Of Earn, causing “extremely heavy traffic in the village”.
The road fully reopened at around 4.45pm.

The crash was the most serious of a number of accidents that happened on the roads around Perth in the afternoon.

One northbound lane of the A9 was closed at Tibbermore for around half an hour after an accident at around 2.20pm.
Another accident on the A9 further north near Cairnie Brae on the approach to Broxden Roundabout restricted traffic for around 20 minutes.
