Inquiries are continuing into the mysterious death of a Perthshire man whose body was found inside a burning car in February.
A murder probe into the death of Rafal Lyko, 36, was launched after he was found inside the vehicle on the evening of Monday February 11.
The Courier revealed last month that a post-mortem examination had failed to determine a cause of death for the Polish car mechanic.
Yesterday Police Scotland said officers were still investigating.
Mr Lyko is known to have visited Auchterarder, where his parents Antoni and Jolanta stay, shortly before his death. It is understood he also visited Crieff, before travelling to South Lanarkshire.
The father-of-one was discovered in a stolen Mercedes at a car park in Blantyre.
The vehicle is believed to have been in East Kilbride and Cambuslang before it was found alight. Emergency services were called to the area after residents reported a loud bang.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Inquiries are still ongoing and there is no new information at the minute.”
Police have asked people to get in touch if they have dashcam footage from the night.
Mr Lyko previously spent time at Perth Prison over his links to another Polish man convicted in connection with a hit on a Scottish businessman.
He was jailed for four months in 2012 for smuggling a spy phone into the prison for hitman’s fixer Deyan Nikolov to use while he was on trial for murder.
Neighbours at Mr Lyko’s family home in Auchterarder said he had moved to Pruszkow in Poland after his release.
