Thieves have stolen thousands of pounds worth of power tools from an Auchterarder minibus.
Police Scotland is appealing for information about the theft of high-value tools from the vehicle in the town’s Queens Terrace.
The force confirmed the incident happened between 4pm on Sunday, April 7, and 6am on Monday, April 8.
A white Ford minibus was forced open by the perpetrators and a number of power tools were taken.
Amongst the haul of tools were 10 orange nail guns and seven batteries, a TopCon rotary laser and stand, contained within a yellow box, four green Makita Rip Snorters, a
Dewalt Rip Snorter, four green Makita Impact Drills and a green Makita reciprocating saw.
A police spokesperson said: “The thieves showed a high level of knowledge about the items they took, as they stole items that were not easily traced.”
A small dark coloured car with a loud exhaust was seen nearby about 1am and officers would like to trace this vehicle and its occupants to determine if they have any information which could assist the investigation.
