An historic crossing in Perth city centre was closed due to a police incident on Friday afternoon.
Officers locked down Perth Bridge just before 4pm on Friday, bringing the city centre to a standstill.
Police were seen talking to a man who was sat on a ledge at the side of the crossing.
The incident had a knock-on effect on city centre traffic.
UPDATE: The road reopened just after 4.30pm.
The man who was sat on the bridge appeared to be safe. He was led away by police.
