The McGregor family from Perth have sailed through to the semi-finals of the ITV quiz show Britain’s Brightest Family, presented by star of The Chase Anne Hegerty.
Ross McGregor, his mum Jennifer and his grandfather Jim showed their smarts as they beat the Gough family 265 points to 165 on Wednesday night.
The family also cruised through the previous heat rounds.
The quarter-final win means the family pick up £2,500 and stay on course for the £25,000 jackpot if they win the series.
Following the win, mum Jennifer said: “Having won the two games it gives us a lot of confidence but I’m not going to get over confident.”
