A man who assaulted a woman in Perth and demanded her phone is being sought by police.
The attempted robbery took place on Bruce Crescent on Easter Monday at about 9.50pm.
The 50-year-old was walking on a grassy area near the end of the road when the man approached and assaulted her.
Despite demanding her phone, he made off empty handed.
The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for a minor injury.
Police say they want to speak to a man in his late-20s who was wearing a black tracksuit and has a Eastern European accent.
Detective Sergeant Lucy Cameron said: “The woman suffered a minor injury as a result of the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment.
“We are carrying out a review of CCTV of the area and officers are conducting door-to-door inquiries.
“We would like to speak with a man who is described as being aged 28-29, who spoke with an Eastern European accent. He was wearing a black tracksuit.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area to get in touch with Police Scotland on 101 quoting CR/10442/19’.”
