Four women were taken to hospital after a head-on smash that brought part of Perth city centre to a standstill.
The accident, involving a red Fiat 500 and a red Skoda, happened on Dunkeld Road just after 12pm on Monday.
Emergency services, including five fire service appliances, were scrambled to the scene.
Four women were taken to hospital following the incident. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The accident, which happened outside Bannerman Decorators near the A85 turn-off, caused major congestion for about an hour, with tailbacks stretching south along Dunkeld Road and onto Atholl Street.
Police moved both vehicles to the side of the road to allow traffic to pass. Traffic was moving again by 1pm.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 12.05pm today to attend a road traffic collision on Dunkeld Road in Perth.
“We dispatched two ambulances to the scene and transported four patients to Perth Royal Infirmary.”
