A Perth city centre road was closed for four hours as police dealt with a “disturbance” on Saturday morning.
Officers were called to Kinnoull Street at 1am and taped off the street as the incident was dealt with.
The windows of one flat were smashed and items were thrown to the road below.
One resident claimed armed police were called to help gain entry into a property, however police were unable to confirm if this was the case.
A man was arrested following the disturbance.
Paramedics were also called to the scene.
A police spokesman said: “There was an incident at Kinnoull Street. That came in at 1.03am.
“It was in relation to a disturbance. There was one male arrested. He was checked over by ambulance.”
The man is not said to have been injured.
The road was reopened at 5am.
