Brazen thieves broke into two neighbouring houses in Scone while the occupants slept.
Both incidents occurred on David Douglas Avenue on the night of Tuesday June 25 between midnight and 5am.
The thieves gained entry through ground floor windows in both properties with one being forced and the other had a glass pane removed.
The occupants of both properties were in their homes and asleep at the time.
Nothing was stolen from one property but a wallet and contents along with two mobile phones was taken from the other.
This is the latest in in a spate of thefts in Perthshire and Kinross were intruders have broken into homes while the occupants slept.
Three homes were broken into in the Craigie area of Perth between June 14 and June 19.
In Kinross on June 24 thieves made of with over £10,000 worth of items after breaking into a home while the owners slept.
