Early arrivals flocked to Scone Palace this morning for the opening day of the 11th annual Rewind Festival.
The annual 1980s extravaganza kicks off this afternoon, with campers taking the chance to avoid any traffic congestion by getting into the grounds as soon as they could.
Gates open at 4.30pm, with a DJ set by former Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp one of the attractions for tonight. There will also be a silent disco, ceilidh, karaoke and a cinema.
Forecasters are expecting the heavens to open in the late afternoon, so ponchos or umbrellas will be a must. The rain won’t mean it will be a cold day, however, with experts suggesting that the temperature could peak at a balmy 19C.
As the festival kicks off with a full line-up on Saturday, party-goers should expect scattered showers throughout the evening performances by Paul Young, Lulu and Foreigner. Make sure to pack a light jacket though, as the July temperatures are here to stay.
Sunday could be the sunniest day, with a much lower chance of rain as Bryan Ferry, The Stranglers and Lisa Stansfield take to the stage.
The sticky summer humidity is set to continue, but music lovers should expect a refreshing light breeze throughout the weekend.
