Perth Highland Games has been cancelled, organisers have confirmed.
The event, which was due to take place at Scone Palace on Sunday, was called off late on Wednesday night.
A spokesman said the decision was “not taken lightly” and was due to the condition of the site, plus this weekend’s weather forecast.
In a statement posted on social media, the show’s spokesman said: “Due to health and safety concerns, it has been decided to cancel this year’s Perth Highland Games.
“The ground is absolutely waterlogged and the forecast is not showing any let up.”
He added: “Our sincere apologies to you all. We’re gutted too.”
