Aberfeldy Show has been forced to change its Friday events to Sunday because of heavy rain forecast for tomorrow.
The Perthshire show has rescheduled its horse and pony classes in order to protect the grass for Saturday’s Highland Games.
A spokesperson for the Aberfeldy Show said: “Following a site meeting, and with last night’s rain and Friday’s awful forecast, we have taken the decision to move Friday’s Horse and Pony classes to Sunday to save the field as much as possible.
“Sadly this means no events at all on Friday.
“Saturday’s show and Highland Games will go ahead as planned.”
Friday’s food and craft events have also been cancelled but are not expected to be rearranged for the Sunday.
